HITTING, CATCHING, FIELDING, PITCHING
Michelle, a 1999 graduate of Jenison High School, has been training and coaching at Elite for over 6 years. While at Jenison, Michelle was a three time All-State Catcher, two time All-American, and her senior year Michelle was named the National Catcher of the Year and Miss Softball-Michigan. After Jenison, Michelle continued her career at Central Michigan University as a Shortstop and Catcher; she also graduated with a degree in sport management. During her four years at Central, Michelle was named MAC player of the Year in 2003, and named to the All-MAC team two years in a row. Michelle also played on the Netherlands National Softball Team, finishing second in the qualifying rounds of the Olympic Games.
Michelle has been the director of Michigan Elite Softball for the past 11 years, and for the 2017 season there will be 14 softball teams. She is also the coach of the 18U team, and Head Softball Trainer at Elite.
Michelle resides in Wyoming, Michigan with her husband Jeremy and two boys, Reed and Grant. She is looking forward to the growth of Elite Softball.

Kayla is a 2009 graduate from Jenison High School where she was a three-year varsity player and received All-State honors as a second basemen her Junior and Senior year and MVP her senior year. After high school, Kayla continued her softball career at Alma College where she majored in Secondary Physical Education and minored in Mathematics. While at Alma College, Kayla received All-Conference honors her Junior and Senior year at second base (2012-2013). Kayla was the assistant softball coach at Grand Rapids Community College in the fall of 2015. She was the head varsity softball coach at Grand Rapids Christian High School for the 2014 and 2015 seasons. Kayla is also going into her fourth year as one of our 16u coach's here at Elite. She has coached travel ball at the 16u and 18u level for the past 8 years.
Kayla currently lives in Wyoming, MI with her son Brayden.
SLAPPING , HITTING , OUTFIELD
McKenzie is a 2014 graduate from Tecumseh High School. She was a 4-year Varsity player in the outfield where she received All-Conference Honorable Mention both her Junior and Senior Year. McKenzie currently plays at Davenport University as she is heading into her senior year. She has been on the Varsity team all 4 years and has started in center field since her sophomore year. In 2016, she received All-Conference, All-Region, and All-Defensive First Team. This past 2017 season, she received All-Defensive First Team and helped her team finish Fifth in the NAIA Softball College World Series. Mckenzie will be starting off her coaching career this year by co-coaching one of our 16u teams.
Rachael is a 2013 graduate from Lakeshore High School. She completed her first three years of high school as a varsity player at St. Joseph High School where she received All-Division (2011/2012), All-Region (2012), and All-State. After transferring to Lakeshore High School, she received All-Division, All-Region, and All-State for her senior year (2013). Rachael continued her softball career at Central Michigan University (2014-2017) where she studied Therapeutic Recreation/Gerontology. In 2014, she received All-Mac Freshman Team. During her sophomore year, she was awarded All-MAC 2nd team, All-MAC tournament team, and Great Lakes All-Region 3rd team. For her senior season in 2017, she ended her college career as All-MAC 1st team, MAC Pitcher of the Year, Great Lakes All-Region 2nd team, and Fastpitch News Honorable Mention All-American! Leaving behind a legacy, Rachael set three Central Michigan University records and was ranked in four other categories.

Brittini is a 2007 high school graduate from Wayland Union. During her junior and senior year, she received All-State honors at short-stop. In 2007, she also received Miss Softball and High School All-American. Brittini continued on to Central Michigan University where she graduated in 2011 with a family studies degree and a minor in coaching. While at CMU, she received 2nd Team All-MAC and All-Freshman Team (Shortstop) in 2008 and 1st Team All-MAC (second base) in 2011. After college, she pursued her coaching career and started as the Volunteer Assistant at the University of Minnesota in 2012. She then went on to be the Volunteer Assistant at Northwestern University from 2014-2015. Following that season, she moved into the role of Assistant Coach Southern Illinois Edwardsville from 2015-2016. Brittini is currently the Assistant Varsity Coach at Davenport University.
